Answers

1. Stable Life is a non-profit park and recreational facility. Stable Life is designed to unite those with and without disabilities. This is accomplished with the use of adaptive equipment and recreational activities.

2. Stable Life's facility is open to the public and can be an enjoyable experience for everyone. The activities that are offered and the equipment that is available will allow people with and without disabilities to more easily enjoy each other. Everyone is welcome.....from infant to adult.

3. Stable Life offers general recreation. There is a gym with opportunities to participate in physical training. There is also a horse recreation program that teaches basic horsemanship. In addition, there are opportunities for Stable Life to provide respite care also.

4. All future playgrounds at Stable Life will be wheelchair accessible and offer opportunities for everyone with and without disabilities to play TOGETHER on the playgrounds. There will be 8' sidewalks throughout the facility and all restrooms will be wheelchair accessible. The gym currently utilizes equipment that allows for physical training. The barn also has the equipment necessary to teach basic horsemanship to anyone interested regardless of ability.

5. Everyone is welcome at Stable Life! Our desire is that Stable Life will be a place that fosters unity between those who are disabled and those who are not.

6. General admission to Stable Life will be free of charge. There will, however, be fees associated with using some aspects of the facility. Currently, there is a monthly fee for the gym and a fee per lesson in the equine program.
